Bagru; Block Printing

Bagru block printing, an age-old craft from Rajasthan, epitomizes the harmony of tradition and artistry. Originating over 300 years ago, it employs hand-carved wooden blocks to imprint natural dyes onto fabric, creating intricate, earthy patterns. Artisans meticulously align each block, ensuring precision and continuity in design. This eco-friendly process, steeped in cultural heritage.

Batik; Wax Resisting Dyeing & Printing

This intricate dyeing technique involves wax-resistant dyeing on fabric, where artisans skillfully apply wax and then immerse the fabric in vibrant dyes. The wax cracks, creating delicate veins of color, resulting in mesmerizing patterns.

Chanderi; Weaving

Chanderi weaving, an exquisite craft originating from the historical town of Chanderi in Madhya Pradesh, dates back to the Vedic period. This age-old technique employs fine silk and cotton threads, meticulously woven on traditional looms to create ethereal, gossamer-like fabrics. Celebrated for its sheer texture and glossy transparency, the intricate process highlights the skill and heritage of Indian weavers, preserving a legacy of elegance and sophistication through generations.

Chikankari

Chikankari handwork, a delicate and refined embroidery tradition, originated in Lucknow during the Mughal era, with legend attributing its introduction to Empress Noor Jahan. Dabu; Mud Resist Printing
